Promo no 2 of the new year comes in the shape of an electro house number from the those cheeky scrap boys, following up there EP1 and there massive remix of richard belsoms Rhythm which Deepgroove gave 8/8 in M8 Magazine, comes number 2 this time with 3 new monsters why go digital, extorted, Erotic Robot. First up why go digital is a lovely warm electronic house number, Scrap's minimailist electro takes on very influnces from the techno verison of minimal and gives it an electro vibe and yet it still would work in a tech house set as well. This track will fit just as well in a warm up or main time set. Track number 2 Extorted is back to scraps more balls out electro house the tracks driving bassline and punchy kicks and snares really make you want ot move that arse. Extorteds enery and well time drum rolls will destroy anyone left standing. All three of these tracks have beautiful production with all the instruments sounding really alive and non so more with the final track Erotic Robot this is more alive than Johnny Five and more punch than that laser on his shoulder. Scrap chop up there vocal with excellant precision as well feel we could bounce along with this track!

Jack Digitals - vol 1.0 | singles and remixes from years one and two

Two years have passed since we completed our first track Phing and had a bit of good feedback from a couple of influence DJs and decided that we would take on the task of putting the track by ourselves on our own digital label.  Since then we have had a further 20 releases and had remarkable feedback from a variety of great djs and producers.  As we enter the third year we take a breath and look back at some of our favorite tracks and remixes starting with Jay Lamar remix of Mark Sun’s Dawnlight which came runner up in Beatport.com remix competition but has shone through.  Our biggest summer anthem Houseplayerz Long Time Coming gets a deserved placing on the cd and the massive acid monster Who Gave Manmachine the Acid by Dan van Damn which has been played from the likes of Josh Wink and Justin Robertson.  Mental Guitar tracks Puppy Dog and Air Guitar keep the middle order rocking and show the label has it foot in the nu-rave /electro end of the market too before finishing with firstly a record Deepgroove gave 8/8 in M8 magazine in the form of Scrap’s remix of Richard Belsom’s Rhythm track and then final the track that started it all our very own Phing.  We’d like to thank everyone who has support the label through the first two years and lets look forward to more. Big Love Audio Jackers xxx

1. Mark Sun – Dawnlight (Jay Lamar remix)
2. Scrap - Wired
3. Houseplayerz – Long time Coming
4. Dan van Damn – Who Gave ManMachine the Acid
5. Illicit Audio (Justin Steel & Mike Mackeeg) – Breathe (Dan van Damn remix)
6. Quinzi & Arnette – Air Guitar (Q-Edit remix)
7. Little Jo – Puppy Dog (Aspin remix)
8. Shay dT – Can’t Let go (Adam hunter remix)
9. Richard Belsom – Rhythm (Scrap remix)
10. Audio Jackers – phing

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

AT LAST IT'S HERE!!
The first full EP from Dan van Damn, dan has been a regular remixer to Jack Digitals for the past year including remixes on the Audio Jackers Phing, Richard Belsom's Rhythm and even coming a runner up in the Mark Sun Dawnlight remix competition and his current remix of Illict Audio's Breathe is doing great stuff on dancefloors across the land too. Grahame first met Dan when he found a demo mix on the Chemical Brothers forum and was remarkably impressed. Since then Dan has made numerous apperances at Turnmills at the Together night. Dan has also featured in DJ Mag twice as mix of the month which goes to show the boy has skills with the CDJs.

So it was only right for his first EP to come out on Jack Digitals and what an EP! We lead of with a track that has one of the best acid basslines we've heard for a long while and rightly its named "Who Gave ManMachine the Acid" this track is serious and will blow all dancefloors away. Killerwave begins as a light airy piece of techno with a subtle and then beautiful synth filling your brain with a sense of somewhere warm and homely or like the the eye of a storm before the damage happens and that Killerwave strikes!

Incarnate is the final piece of the EP and it's a lengthy 10min sultery affair as it dances in and out the concious mind as it weaves an epic spine reaching the very particles of existance. You feel it growing inside your mind as if it where borg trying to make you one with it. As it spawns and twitches inside your body, your limbs takes on a new life and your feel a sense of completeness.
